Andy Meaney

A native of Birkenhead, England, Andy moved to the United States in March 2006. Andy started out working for TSF Academy based out of Lincoln Park, NJ.  During his time at TSF, Andy worked his way up from, inter academy/summer select training to Inter Academy Manager, and then onto Manager of U8-14 Academy teams for Boys and Girls.

 

Andy has an excellent track record of developing young players, along with winning multiple elite level competitions such as the NJYS and US Club State Cup, Jefferson Cup, Potomac, and multiple EDP events, Andy also took a boys team to the Quarter Finals at the illustrious Dallas Cup.

 

Since starting work at Torpedoes in 2014, Andy has been an instrumental part of the clubs success. The club has now grown to over 50 teams, which offers a great environment for players of all levels. The club has nationally ranked and state cup champion teams, and all teams compete in EDP or NCSA Leagues.

Argjent Duka

Argjent comes with a wealth of playing and coaching experience. Argjent started his youth career with NJ Celtic and World Class while also being selected for the NJ State and Regional ODP team in 2003. After his graduation from Montville High School, Argjent went to CCM college where he played the 2004-05 season before transferring to Montclair State University the following year. In this year he helped Montclair to finish in first place in the NJAC.

 

Argjent decided to pursue a career in the sport he loved and began coaching in 2005. Over the years he has worked for many high-profile teams in NJ and has developed a fantastic reputation with his training. Argjent joined the Torpedoes training staff in the Fall of 2014 and has had an impact ever since. He has won New Jersey state championships as the coach of the 2008 Boys' Red Team, 2011 Girls' Red Team, and and twice coaching the 2009 Boys' Red Team.
